Brown Undyed Escorial Wool Tie with Herringbone Pattern
- The item
- The brand
- This unlined, six-fold tie comes in a classic mid-brown herringbone design and works extraordinarily well with grey or navy coats. Escorial wools are known for their cashmere-softness owing to their long, fine fibres, and superior drape and resilience thanks to their naturally highly crimped yarns - all adding up to quite an exquisite necktie.
The total population of Escorial sheep in the world is 46,000, compared to 40 million merino sheep in Australia alone. Less than 5% of the annual clip of these Escorial sheep contains the rare brown fibres which are used to weave this series of undyed, naturally brown wools that are woven in Huddersfield, England.
All Vanda Fine Clothing ties are proudly handmade in Singapore.
- Vanda Fine Clothing was founded in August 2011 by Gerald Shen and Diana Chan with the mission of creating traditionally handcrafted menswear of exceptional quality.
With their humble beginnings selling hand-rolled pocket squares made on their bedroom floors, Vanda have expanded their product line to include handsewn neckties, as well as self-tie bow ties.
A small team of four staff handcrafts every single product, one piece at a time in our their workshop in Singapore. This artisanal approach ensures that every product is truly unique - something that mass-production settings can never emulate, whether in terms of quality or character.
