- Simonnot Godard's history began in the 18th century and they are the last weaver of luxury handkerchiefs and pocket squares in France. The company first started producing fine linens, batistes, home and bed fabrics and was the supplier for many big fashion house. It was only in 1999, after taken over by Benjamin Godard, when the company decided to focus only on handkerchiefs and pocket squares. From the yarn to the finished product, it will take five months to finish a pocket square or handkerchief . Simonnot Godard is proud to be the last company producing handkerchiefs still using traditional and artisanal methods, making the products very exclusive and luxurious.
